Additionally, Nemours Children's Health allows us to reach more children across the region through community-based physician services and collaborative partnerships with health and hospital systems.Primary Job FunctionThis position is responsible for local leadership, management and ongoing development and retention of qualified clinical staff for Therapeutic & Rehabilitative Services. Could include multiple accounting units. Responsible for supervision of associates, ensuring proper staffing and patient flow, supporting family centered care, general service operations and customer satisfaction. Identifies opportunities to improve services, makes recommendations and implements actions as appropriate and consistent with the goals for the hospital and Nemours Foundation. Oversees and facilitates implementation of strategic initiatives. In conjunction with Director, prepares budgets and monitors financial performance for the department. Assure programs adherence to all regulatory requirements. As per license requirements on a limited basis, the position may provide evaluation, treatment and consultation to patients within the guidelines designated by department and hospital policy and procedures. Mandatory core and annual competencies This position coordinates and ensures the operational integrity of the designated clinical program within Therapeutic & Rehabilitative Services in collaboration with the department Managers/Director. Provides team leadership and management of daily clinical assignments in the designated area including performance management. Facilitates ongoing development and retention of qualified clinical staff. Responsible for participation in Quality Improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve services and assure patient safety, making recommendations and implementing actions as appropriate. Assists with the implementation of strategic planning initiatives.Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree is entry-level; must be eligible for Delaware clinical licensure
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience required.
  • New Jersey State clinical license in Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy required upon hire and must be maintained for duration of employment, regardless of program or location.
  • Must be eligible for Delaware or other designated clinical license to practice
  • AHA BLS/CPR certification (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) within 6 months of employment and must be maintained for duration of employment.
  • Member of professional specialty organizations preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Management experience preferred.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.
