We can show you how.POSITION SUMMARY:The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the marketing of Goodwill's Adult Workforce Programsand the recruitment of WIOA-eligible participants in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. This position is responsiblefor functioning as a community point of contact to all prospective customers and referral sources, includingenrollment of participants. The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist will locate areas for community engagement,build relationships with referral sources and track event opportunities. This role will work collaboratively withother Goodwill departments.Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Promote and increase awareness of Goodwill's Adult Workforce Programs at hiring andcommunity events.
- Source individual programs and services with information regarding interested participants asgathered from recruitment activities.
- Foster and develop relationships with area partners and engage Goodwill staff to make potentialservice connections.
- Participate in the recruitment and eligibility determination of potential program participants.
Status: Full-timeLocation: Lawrenceville Workforce Development Center - 118 52nd Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201External Hiring Range: $17.40 -$18.10/hourSchedule: Monday through Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) Schedule can vary depending on department needs.Travel Required: Travel is required, to Goodwill and community sites in Southwestern Pennsylvania.QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND 3 years of experience required. OR
- Associates degree AND 1 year of experience required.
Required Education: Any related degree will be considered with the required experience.Required Experience:experience in any customer service field required. Preferred Experience: Experience with outreach, program recruitment, enrollment, admissions, admissions support or similar administrative assistance.REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.
- Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
