Job Summary: Position Summary: Provide Athletic Training Services to a local high school/college in coordination with physicians at Upstate Orthopedics. Infrequently provide patient care support in a clinic setting. Current High School Opening: Bishop Grimes25 hours/week with 15 hours/week clinic or assistance at other schools Responsibilities:-Availability after school hours to provide care to student athletes as schedule allows- Provide home game coverage to assigned school.-Travel with Varsity Football to away games as schedule allows.-Provide care in injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries, first aid, and emergency care.-Documentation of Injuries/Illness-Assist Athletic Director as needed-Proper Referral to overseeing Physician-Abide by standing orders with Physician and scope of practice in NYS Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Athletic TrainingCurrent BOC Athletic Training CertificationCurrent NYS Athletic Training Licensure from Dept. of EducationBLS CPR/AED Certification - American Red Cross or American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: Work Days: Monday - Friday flexed second shift - some Saturdays as needed Message to Applicants: L1: $55,341 - $64,272 Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
