Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outreach/Community Engagement professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships and creating positive change within our community. This role is responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs, engaging with community members, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and collaboratively with our team to promote our mission and values.

Duties

  • Develop and implement outreach programs to engage with community members and promote our organization's mission and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Conduct outreach activities, such as community events, presentations, and door-to-door canvassing, to educate the community about our organization's programs and services.
  • Collaborate with program development teams to develop new programs and services that meet the needs of our community.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of our outreach programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor volunteers and staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out outreach activities effectively.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts to support the development and implementation of our outreach programs.
  • Provide addiction counseling and support services to community members in need.
  • Manage and coordinate volunteer efforts to support outreach programs and events.
  • Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in social work, non-profit management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management and leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing outreach programs and community engagement strategies.
  • Strong skills in education, including the ability to educate community members about our organization's programs and services.
  • Excellent fundraising and grant writing skills.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring staff members and volunteers.
  • Certification in addiction counseling or a related field.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating volunteer efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of outreach programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

    Ability to Relocate:
