The position is responsible for developing and implementing a marketing plan to build awareness of USMH, working with vendors, overseeing all campus communications across multiple media, serving as a liaison to partnering institutions for program promotion, planning and implementing external relations efforts, organizing events, and supporting student services.Outreach CoordinatorThe University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH), whose Human Resources are coordinated by Frostburg State University, seeks an innovative and self-directed person for the full-time, exempt position, for an Outreach Coordinator. Annual salary for the position is $58,000-$60,000. This position will start in January 2025 and will require local and in-state travel for scheduled events. USMH is in downtown Hagerstown and is one of three regional higher education centers in the University System of Maryland offering programs from six universities at one local campus. This position will require some evening hours.Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field with one to three years' experience in public relations, marketing, or communication.Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field with three to five years' experience in public relations, marketing, or communication.About the University: The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) is a regional higher education center that offers the last two years of undergraduate degrees and graduate programs of partner universities within the University System of Maryland at its facility in downtown Hagerstown.
