As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling new tires and services, and related products to existing customers and will be required to develop new accounts. This position is based in Cape Girardeau and will cover the surrounding area. You will be responsible for sales volume to achieve goals established by management.

COMPENSATION: $50,000-$80,000/yr

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of products and the features/benefits of each in order to provide relevant suggestions to customers.
  • Grow existing customer relationships through regular contact by phone and in person
  • Identify new business opportunities and initiate communication with decision makers
  • Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth by selling tires and services
  • Accurately convey orders to store manager
  • Local area travel to customers will be necessary to establish and develop customer accounts
  • The physical ability to deliver tires which may include both light and heavy tires, including commercial and implement tires
  • Follow up and collect prompt payment from customers.
  • Develop and follow a schedule of regular solicitation

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of successful work experience in B2B sales
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to self-motivate and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
  • Tire sales experience a plus
