Outside Sales Job DescriptionOutside Sales Representatives are important members of the Star Nursery team. They provide outstanding customer services and sales assistance to customers. They answer customers' questions, recommend products/ materials & providea safe working/shopping environment. The work in the patio and plant display area outside the store building. Job Description:
- Providing quality customer service. Answering customers questions. recommending products and material to our customer to achieve their project needs.
- Follows operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time service
- Follows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usage.
- Product knowledge
- Stock checks & Creating orders
- Labeling and Signage
- Store upkeep
- Receiving & Stocking Merchandise
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan in short/ long term ranges

Qualifications:
- Effective and relevant work experience in lawn and garden center industry or equivalent

- Must be able to work long hours (seasonal overtime available) in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift & move plant material
- Must be able to pass a drug test (safety sensitive position)
- Authorization to work in the United States
