Role is responsible for driving results with Arlon's major distribution partners and mass market end user accounts across all Arlon products. Responsible for execution of the sales action plan for their assigned region.Territory isIllinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Minnesota, Kentucky .Essential duties and responsibilities:Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsAchieve sales targets and outcomes within agreed upon timeframesContact and support of distribution channel partners (regional and national)Regular contact with all inside and outside sales repsTimely response to customer needsExpedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfactionLead lunch and learnsEducate our distribution partners on how to sell our products and best deliver our value propositionJoint sales calls with distributor reps on agreed-upon targetsEnd-User SalesBuild relationships with End User accounts to create distributor pull-through businessQualifying end user leads to identify opportunitiesReach out to customer leads through cold callingHand off leads with warm introductions to best distributor sales repsVisit existing customers and potential new customers to evaluate needs or promote products and servicesReact to customer inquiries/technical issues/needs (give product recommendations) and elevate technical issues to Tech Service or QualityEngage technical resources to help facilitate the best customer experiences with Arlon products and close new businessQualify the right targets for technical training/showcases/distributor hosted workshopsAnalyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reportsProvide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market trends and potential for new products and servicesCoordinate sales effort with the Marketing department to support promotionsAttend trade shows, open houses, golf outings and networking events as neededUtilize CRM (samples, initiate quotes, track contacts, track leads/opportunities)Timely and accurate submission of T&E expense reports.Up to 75% travelCandidate must reside in Illinois or Indiana.Requirements:Minimum Requirements, Education and Experience:High School degree or equivalentMinimum five (5) years recent relevant work experience, with minimum two (2) years in a Sales roleAbility, availability, and willingness to travel as per business needs; active travel documents, driver license and insurance.Microsoft Office ® proficiencyWorking knowledge of CRM and web researchStrong communication skills in the English language (verbal, written, written, presentation, inter-personal)Positive outlook, professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic, that includes attendance, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, good judgement, and discretion.Communicates and works with, and through, values of integrity, excellence, inspirational, teamwork and accountability (Arlon's core values).
