Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive sales growth by developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships within an assigned territory.

Client Details

Our confidential client is a premier distributor of bearings, power transmission, electrical, and motion control products. They offer innovative services including bearing re-lubrication, engineering solutions, custom control systems, and electro-mechanical assembly across seven locations in New England.

Description

  • Collaborate on annual sales forecasts and territory plans with specific goals.
  • Execute and adapt sales strategies throughout the year.
  • Develop new business opportunities and offer innovative product solutions.
  • Make pricing decisions to maximize profitability.
  • Resolve customer credit issues with the accounting department.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Communicate regularly with branch and company personnel.
  • Build relationships with vendor reps and make joint sales calls.
  • Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge through training and meetings.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Submit required reports on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • 5 years of outside sales experience in Power Transmission and Automation products.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals.
  • Strong sales strategies and techniques.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  • Technical expertise in company products.
  • Effective time management and adaptability.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and distribution software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Travel: Primarily local (90%), with occasional overnight travel.
