Summary

Execute sales strategy and initiate contact with existing and potential new customers to maintain business partnerships within the Multi-Family Housing, Real Estate, Office Project and other targeted industries to identify their needs and market appropriate company products and services to meet those needs. Experience in the housing industry is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Meet and exceed budgeted revenue goals, both individual and project.
  • Identify new prospective customers by establishing and maintaining relationships within targeted industries through face-to-face selling, distribution of marketing collateral, and telephone prospecting.
  • Responsible for productive route calls to customers in order to develop and maintain a strong relationship with the company, identify opportunities for commercial business, and educate them on the company's full range of products and services.
  • Generate new business opportunities through promotions and marketing efforts to include research, telephone prospecting, cold calling, referral incentives, and networking.
  • Develop new business and maintain business relationships through active participation and networking in local industry associations and events.
  • Forecast accurate future business opportunities on a consistent scheduled basis to management utilizing the Customer Contact Database (Salesforce).
  • Develop strategic account plans for major accounts along with strategies and tactics needed to penetrate and develop customer business.
  • Coordinate with company brand partners for sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate work by communicating with Consultants, Regional Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Operations.
  • Develop relationships in the local business community that provide market intelligence on our competition along with prospective new business ventures that could utilize the company's services and products.
  • Develop an understanding of the company's array of products and services to integrate with customer needs.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days to provide support for showroom, sales events, meetings, networking functions, etc.
