Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously. Generate sales through excellent customer service, add-on and up-selling. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner, while representing Sid Harvey's in a professional manner. Salary Range $45,000 to $55,000 plus commissionsReports To:Regional or Territory ManagerEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing sales.
- Responsible for maintaining customer profiles and other data on the salesperson's account.
- Responsible for completing all Customer Relationship Management Forms.
- Responsible for monthly growth of gross profit dollars as compared to prior year performance for assigned accounts.
- Possess a valid driver's license and 3 years of safe driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Provide constant competitive feedback to the Regional Sales Manager or Territory Manager.
- Keep Manager informed about customer relationships, results of sales calls, new accounts and competition activities.
- Present Professional Sales Presentations.
- Conduct self in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Treat external and internal customers and associates with courtesy and respect.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Sid Harvey products (i.e. Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating) to meet customer's needs.
- Update and maintain customer's pricing files.
- Continuous cold calling to build new business.
- Continuously update product knowledge through any available resources. Stay informed and educated as to product inventory and applicability. Know location of merchandise in warehouse.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety rules. Inform Regional Manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.
- Assist in year-end physical inventories as requested.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed.
- Must pass drug test, credit and background search.
