Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The Outside Sales Rep will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with customers. As an Outside Sales Rep, you will play a key role in driving our sales strategies and achieving revenue targets.

  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Experience with SalesForce
  • Must have valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Responsibilities:

  • Work with VP of Sales on sales goals
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
  • Conduct in-person meetings and presentations with potential customers to showcase our products/services
  • Give company presentations and CEU/Lunch and Learn via Zoom as well as in person
  • Attend events held at our ABC showrooms or at the Accounts' offices
  • Attend trade shows
  • Gain knowledge of new products through internal meetings and presentations
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities
  • Introduce and explain materials and products to clients
  • Conduct visits to new and existing accounts
  • Meet with clients in showroom and/or at their office to discuss and develop leads, create architectural specifications and select materials suitable for the intended application
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products or services to meet those needs
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Provide client support and customer service via phone/email and in person
  • Set up Zoom calls and Conference calls
  • Conduct viewings
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any customer or vendor relationship problems
  • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts
  • Capture all necessary client information and enter them into SalesForce
  • Maintain potential and current projects in SalesForce
  • Follow up on projects/quotes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive sales initiatives
  • Discuss Special Orders with the SPO Team and relay information to clients
  • Work cohesively with Inside Sales Reps
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales support
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
  • Attend Bi-weekly Sales meetings and in-person Sales meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of successful outside sales experience (in the Stone Industry a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and principles
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Work overtime as needed, due to needs of the business may at times be mandatory
  • Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequent standing & walking
  • Occasional reaching with hands or arms
  • Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Salary Range: 75,000 To 85,000 Per Year plus 2% commission on paid and delivered sales.
