Position Summary:
The Sales Representative will provide program management support for the assigned customer base. The position will act as a liaison between the customer and PPE Production and Quality departments. This position will work closely with Inside Sales Representatives, Production, and Engineering to drive results. Success in this role is measured by the ability to increase revenue, expand the customer base, and contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will develop new customers through the application of knowledge of our products and capabilities.
- Will work cooperatively with Inside Sales Representatives to develop new customers and meet budgeted sales goals.
- Will solicit sales of new or additional services to existing customers.
- Will determine customer requirements and expectations and will communicate effectively with the organization.
- Will be responsible for the coordination of new projects between Profile, its vendors, and customers and manage their deadlines.
- Will provide pricing and delivery information and will process orders.
- Will expand PPE's digital marketing activities.
- Will field phone, email and internet inquiries.
- Will resolve customer requests, questions and complaints.
- Will provide monthly sales reporting.
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
- Post secondary degree from an accredited college or university or extensive work experience in a manufacturing environment performing in a similar role.
- Experience in aluminum extrusion, fabrication, or a manufacturing environment.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and can effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to solve problems analytically.
- Must have working knowledge of digital marketing with a basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
- Must be willing to travel 30% - 40% of the time.
- Must possess a valid driver license and maintain vehicle insurance.
- Must be a United States citizen or a US Person as defined by ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation)
Environmental and Physical Demands:
This position will partially be sedentary in an office environment with repetitive motion tasks, will be required to drive and may drive in traffic and on expressways and highways, will be required to fly commercially and will be exposed to moving mechanical machines and loud noises. There is a very minimal lifting requirement.
