Overview
Heartwood Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team specializing in doors and windows. This role is 100% commission-based, offering unlimited earning potential for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, exceptional customer service skills, and a deep understanding of the building material industry.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
· Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Sales Consultations:
· Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements.
· Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our doors and windows products.
· Provide expert advice on product selection and customization options.
· Provide accurate and competitive quotes tailored to customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
· Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
· Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Closing Sales:
· Negotiate and close sales deals effectively.
· Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
· Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Product Knowledge:
· Stay updated on product specifications, industry trends, and competitors.
· Educate customers on the quality, features, and benefits of our doors and windows products.
Collaboration:
· Work closely with the Heartwood team to ensure customer expectations are met.
· Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and areas for improvement.
Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance.
· Submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager
Qualifications
Experience:
· Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials industry or home improvement
· Demonstrated success in a commission-based role.
· Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in using Microsoft products, CRM software and other sales tools.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus
Other:
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Compensation
· This position is 100% commission-based.
