Responsibilities: Engage with key decision makers in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Chemical industries. Collaborate with rotating equipment engineers and maintenance professionals to troubleshoot and solve problems Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to enhance customer knowledge and awareness Establish rapport and participate in joint sales calls with manufacturers represented by AirTech Attend sales meetings and stay up-to-date on industry trends Maintains high knowledge level of products, processes, and the latest industry trends Entertains customers and/or vendors including after hours to strengthen relationships Provides start-up service and support when required Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings Manage equipment performance improvement programs, report actions and results in quarterly meetings Travel within specified Western Ohio territory Qualifications & Skills: A comprehensive five years of industrial technology sales experience or a minimum of two years of experience in compressed air equipment sales with a college degree preferred Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (Selltis a plus) Valid drivers' license with clean driving record Strong verbal and written communication skills Influential customer service skills with a talent for building relationships Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor Accomplished at working both independently and as an active team member Customer-centric focus (internal and external customers) Comfortable making cold calls and engaging in conversations Mechanical aptitude including an understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment and machine shop processes preferred Ability to interpret industry standards and engineering specifications (API and ASME) Prior plant experience is preferred Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team Physical Demands/Environment: Must be able to work in an office and industrial setting as required by the customer Must be able to travel via plane as needed; and drive a vehicle for up to 2-3 hours at a time and up to 6 hours per day. Must be able to communicate via telephone and electronic devices in the workplace. Ability to walk for long stretches, climb stairs regularly, and climb ladders occasionally while at industrial customer sites. Adapt to various climates, including high temperatures (ambient and hot process environments) and outdoor conditions such as direct sunlight and extreme high or low temperatures depending on the season.
