Our Long Island client is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team and drive sales of their flooring and countertop products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel distribution sales and a passion for building relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in assigned territories.
- Consult with dealers on pricing, advertising, and promotions.
- Prepare sales contracts and estimate delivery dates.
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities.
- Resolve customer claims and problems.
- Travel to meet with customers.

- 2+ years of experience in channel distribution sales.
- 2+ years of experience in the flooring industry (huge plus)
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual (Spanish is a plus)
Location:
- 5 days onsite in Islip, Long Island
- Daily travel across territory
Compensation:
- $60,000 - $65,000 base salary
- OTE $150k
