Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. As an ambassador for Out of the Woods, you will drive new business, maintain strong client relationships, and oversee the sales process from estimates to installation. This position involves working closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction. This role will focus primarily on granite sales, and opportunities for cabinet sales/design as you develop within the position.

What You Will Do:

  • Solicit and secure new business opportunities, focusing on cabinetry and countertop projects.
  • Provide accurate estimates to customers using company systems and follow up on proposals.
  • Guide clients through the project lifecycle, including revisions to estimates, selections, and final project details.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project management and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-project walk-throughs to ensure quality and resolve any issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends and introduce new products or services that may increase revenue.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contractors and customers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, bids, and customer communications.

What You Will Bring:

  • High school diploma, degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1 2 years of outside sales experience in a professional environment, preferably in Cabinetry, Granite, or Construction
  • PREFERRED: 3 5 years in the cabinet and/or granite industry.
  • PREFERRED: Knowledge of the Cabinet Vision program.
  • Proficiency with estimating systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, build relationships, and multitask.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to visualize and interpret customer requirements from two-dimensional drawings.
  • Problem-solving skills with a strong sense of judgment and attention to detail.
  • A valid drivers license and ability to travel to customer sites.

What You Will Experience:

  • A mix of office and field work, interacting with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
  • Physically demanding tasks such as walking job sites, taking measurements, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Visits to customer locations throughout the year, sometimes requiring air or automobile travel.
  • Field conditions may involve exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise, but safety is a priority.
