Account Manager - Outside Sales

Qual Chem is expanding rapidly in 2024. Established in 1984 and incorporated in 2004, Qual Chem is a nationwide chemical company where hard work and outside sales experience pays. We seek energetic, self-motivated sales professionals to cover the Los Angeles market. Qual Chem Corp. is a nationwide supplier for military, major hotels, hospitals, school districts, municipalities, senior housing, golf courses, and city-state federal government.

Sales experience is required. We can train you on everything you need to be successful if you are the right person. We have a proven winning program in place for the right candidate.

Chemicals are on the Critical Infrastructure sector list, and our supplies are critically needed by big businesses.

Expected commission earnings range from $100,000 to $200,000 in the first year if you are the right fit. Due to client reordering, you can earn $300,000 a year or more in commissions in the second year.

What to expect as an Outside Sales Representative:

  • Independent contractor 1099 position (no ceiling on commissions)
  • Weekly pay of commissions
  • Up to 50 accounts supplied to start; clients reorder monthly
  • No driving freeways (we try to put territory within the area of where you live if possible)
  • Fast track management opportunities available
  • Comprehensive sales training on our products and how to demonstrate them effectively
  • Mon - Fri Work Schedule - No weekends, evenings, or holidays
  • A customer service department that will place your orders and help support your clients
  • Reliable distribution centers that will ship your orders
  • Must provide your own car and proof of insurance
  • Must provide a cell phone and computer with email access; must have great computer skills
  • Background check is mandatory

Essential Duties:

  • Cold call into new accounts in person (Face to Face)
  • Manage and grow business within existing accounts
  • Possessing a self-starting independent mentality
  • Work with minimal supervision
