Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience in sales or a similar role
Selling Skills:
To be successful in this role you must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Understands and effectively applies the concepts of differentiation and adding value.
Knows customer markets and the issues/challenges they face and can translate that information into useful selling strategies.
Builds long-term relationships to drive increased revenue and demand for services
Strategic Skills:
Comprehends the ‘big picture'. Determines opportunities and threats.
Mathematical Skills:
Strong math skills. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret financial information.
Analyze performance against business plans and industry benchmarks
Computer Skills
Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software; especially MS Office, Word, Excel, and sales software (ACT!, CRM, etc.)
