Bronwick Recruiting is searching for an Outside Sales Representative for our client in the Long Island, NY market. Our client is a developer and distributor of tools, specialty supplies, and equipment used in the fabrication and restoration of surfaces for residential, commercial, and industrial markets.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel daily within the territory to meet with customers in face-to-face sales calls. Customers include stone and tile fabrication shops so experience in this industry is a MUST.
- Service existing accounts, establish new accounts, enter orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential accounts.
- Deploy local sales strategies and tactics while meeting assigned accounts/territory revenue, product margins, and sales goals.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Prospect for new accounts using social networking, internet, and trade publications.
- Utilize analytical modeling to initiate needs and make recommendations for expansions, new facilities, new equipment, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have at least 2 years experience in B2B distribution sales (Stone, Tile, Fabrication, Construction)
- MUST have at least 1 year experience either working in the stone, tile, or fabrication industries.
Travel Required:
- 80% Travel with some overnight stay
COMPENSATION:
- Total Comp = $70,000 - $90,000+
- Base $50,000 - $55,000
