We are seeking an Outsourced CFO to join our Startup Outsourcing Group. This person will be responsible for developing and nurturing the overall management and integrity of our clients' accounting operations and related financial and reporting functions.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

• Analyzing complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to client's management team for decision making purposes.
• Supporting fundraising strategies and efforts.
• Preparing for board presentations and attending Board of Directors meeting as requested by Client.
• Creating/maintaining financial pro forma model for forecasting, budgeting, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparison, budget vs actual analysis and operating plan variance analysis with the help of additional EA Group resources as applicable.
• Analyzing current and past trends in financial metrics and KPIs pertinent to client industry and needs.
• Continually monitoring metrics and highlight trends and unexpected variances.
• Overseeing and advising the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
• Working with other members of EA Group assigned to the client to oversee the creation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
• Assisting to improve performance by evaluating client's current processes to drive efficiencies.
• Performing Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis requested by client's management team.
• Supporting various client needs, both strategic and operational.
• Acting as the primary contact for the Client as requested.
• Managing other EA Group resources as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience working with start-ups or smaller companies.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

• CPA.
• Consulting experience.

Preferred Location:Remote

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $250,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
