Outstanding Psychiatry Opportunity - Maine An exceptional opportunity is available on the coast of Maine in the beautiful mid-sized college town of Brunswick. We are seeking an adult psychiatrist to join a hospital employed team of two physicians, to work collaboratively in providing inpatient care within a 14 bed, acute psychiatric unit. In addition, consultations will be performed in other areas of the hospital, including Med/Surg, ICU, Womens Health and ED. The collaboration reaches beyond this department, with Hospitalists available to perform H & Ps for every patient on the BHU, and to perform consultations and follow ups for medically compromised patients. ECT certification is desirable, or a willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Weekend call schedule is a comfortable 2:3 months, requiring unit rounding.
