Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team at Eagle Metal. The Crane Operator will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient handling of coils weighing up to 20,000 pounds. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to manage raw material inventory. Additionally, the Crane Operator will be responsible for performing quality control inspections on incoming raw materials. Requirements Crane Operation:

  • Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position coils weighing up to 20,000 pounds.
  • Safely transport materials within the facility, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
Raw Material Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels.
  • Work closely with the materials manager to monitor material usage.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
Quality Control Inspections:
  • Perform thorough quality control inspections on incoming raw materials.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or defects found during inspections.
  • Work with the materials manager to implement corrective actions as necessary.
Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating cranes and handling materials.
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of safety protocols.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid crane operator certification.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
