We're looking for compassionate overnight staff to provide vital care and companionship to a young man with autism and other disabilities in his family home. Whether youre seeking part-time or full-time work, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact during those quiet hours.Position: Part-Time Overnight Awake Staff Flexible hours available.What Youll Do:
- Be a nighttime guardian, staying awake and attentive to his needs.
- Assist with personal care, including diaper changes and any additional support he may require.
- Provide comfort and reassurance with a calming presence, a gentle touch, or simply holding his hand.
- Use video monitoring to keep watch, with time to use your phone or computer when he's resting.
What You Bring:
- Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of caregiving experience is preferred, but compassion is key.
- Must pass a criminal background check to ensure safety.
- Experience with basic sign language is a plus!
- Kindness, empathy, and a nurturing spirit are essential.
- Comfortable with a friendly therapy dog in the home.
