Stay with us to experience a new kind of urban chic, complete with a stunning Wellness Floor and the world-renowned Japanese izakaya-inspired restaurant, Zuma. The Opportunity: Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is currently looking for a Part-Time Overnight Guest Service Agent. Basic Purpose: Welcome and register hotel guests explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Check guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing their needs adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while conforming with all Four Seasons' policies. Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Guest Service Attendant duties. Essential function of the job:
- Check in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
- Assure that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
- Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest room and issues correct keys to the guest.
- Check out guest at end of stay and ascertain guest satisfaction.
- Collect keys, posts late charges and presents bill upon check out
- Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
- Maintain a balanced bank assigned by the hotel.
- Email the guest regarding any late charges processed to their account after their check-out (when proper email is available).
- Make change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency.
- Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift and to cash out.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
Knowledge and Skills:
- High School Degree preferred
- 2 Years in a front desk role or 2 years' luxury customer service experience necessary.
- Ability to read, write and English.
