Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to come join our overnight direct care team at Berkshire Meadows! Berkshire Meadows is a residential facility for children and adults with severe intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs.Salary: $21/hrSign-on Bonus: We are offering a $3,000 sign on bonus ($1,000 paid at time of hire, $1,000 paid after 3months of employment and another $1,000 paid after 6 months).Referral Bonus: You will receive $1,000 for every full-time employee and $500 for every part-time employee you refer.Work Life: We offer multiple options for schedules and weekend availability to best fit your needs!No work experience or college degree needed! We Provide The Training So That:
  • Learn about our mission and culture.
  • Get First Aid, CPR, and physical intervention training.
  • Period of time for orientation; specific to the site and individuals-served.
  • Shadow experienced staff members.
  • You will learn how to provide direct care to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Learn how to support clients in the development of communication and decision making.
  • Learn to work as an integral part of an active and engaged team.
  • Become knowledgeable in how to keep clients safe, engaged and active through assisting with meals, dressing, bathing, and residential activities.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Remain awake throughout overnight shift to complete head checks every 7-15 minutes.
  • Be able to establish establish clear professional boundaries, work as a team member and consistently implement all policies and procedures, rules and regulations of JRI.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
