Pay: $22.00 -$23.00 per hour DOE

Location: 21051 Warner Center Ln, STE 105 Woodland Hills, CA 91367 (On-site.)

Schedule: Sunday -Wednesday 11:00pm-7:30am

Optimum Performance Institute is a leading provider of adolescent and young adults behavioral health services dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals and communities. Responsibilities:
  • Build trusting and supportive relationships with residents, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their personal and social development.
  • Assist residents in setting and achieving realistic and meaningful goals in areas such as emotional regulation, independence, and vocational skills.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead group activities that promote community engagement, skill development, and wellness.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, psychologists, and vocational coaches to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment and support.
  • Monitor and support resident participation in daily programs and activities, intervening as necessary to promote safety and progress.
  • Document and report on residents' progress, challenges, and milestones, maintaining detailed records in accordance with OPI standards and privacy laws.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure all interventions are documented and communicated to the clinical team.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay abreast of best practices in mental health care.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Were looking for a candidate whos ready to drive success! You must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record eligible for company-paid auto insurance to qualify for this role.
  • At least two years of experience in a residential setting, mental health facility, or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young adults from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
