Summary: The Resort Transportation Driver is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to guests while transporting their luggage and providing other services as needed. The successful candidate is professional, personable, and has excellent customer service skills.Report To: Resort ManagerWhat You Will Be Doing:Pickup, transport, and drop off Resort guests to and from Resort, Theme Park, Water Park and SafariSafely load and unload luggage in and out of vehiclesConverse with guest while providing information on the property, resort, and amenities offeredComplete parking registration and pre-check in for guests upon their arrivalMaintain cleanliness of transportation vehiclesTransport guest and luggage from Resort Lodge to their accommodations and explain room featuresEnsure the appropriate amount of transport vehicles and seats are available prior to guest arrival based on reservation size.Communicate guests needs and information to Front Desk staff in a timely mannerStore luggage in an organized and safe manner as needed How You Will Do It:Adhere to Six Flags Great Adventure Resort Driving PoliciesOperate the Front Desk system to confirm arrival times, reservation size, and complete vehicle registrationAnswer telephone calls from internal and external guests/customers as well as inter-departmental callsUtilize a radio to communicate information in a timely mannerCompliance with communication protocols for telephone and email What You Will Need:Must be at least 18 years oldMust be able to work overnight shiftsMust have valid New Jersey Drivers License with clean driving recordMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessaryMust be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsFor safety purposes, this individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageComputer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of Opera software preferredPossess organizational skills and attention to detailPrior guest services experience requiredMust have a friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented attitudeMust be able to perform tasks safely and adhere to company policyAbility to share all possible hotel and safari knowledge as trainedAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Position is estimated to begin around May 6th, 2024 While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.
