Overnight Security Officer

The Overnight Security Officer is responsible for assisting with the protection of people, property and assets, through responding to fire, medical, and other emergencies on campus. This position works on the Overnight shift. Typical working hours are 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM or 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM. The Overnight Security Officer conducts rounds of the property throughout their shift to ensure that every area is safe and secure. They will respond to requests for assistance from employees, guests and members. They will complete daily reports of the events that occur during their shifts and communicate with Security Management regarding issues and concerns.The Houstonian's Security Officers may occasionally called upon to drive a company vehicle, so they must have a current Texas Driver's License and maintain a good driving record. CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications as well as Texas Level II Security license are also required, but may be obtained within 90 days of joining the Houstonian.
