The project enhances victim/survivor safety, provides training for the campus community, and strengthens collaboration between campus and community partners. The project director will oversee the project through the implementation phase of the OVW grant, coordinate the work of the Molloy Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT), and ensure the project achieves its stated goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Planning & Implementation: Collaborate with CCRT to build strategic plan; oversee the implementation of all project goals and objectives, following proposed project timetable. Provide direction for subcommittees to implement strategic plan initiatives.* Campus/Community Coordination: Maintain excellent communication with key campus and community stakeholders. Coordinate the work of the Molloy Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT), a multidisciplinary group consisting of 30+ administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community partners (victim services and law enforcement) by facilitating monthly core leadership team meetings and supporting the planning and facilitation of bi-annual meetings with the broader membership. Enhance CCRT communication and protocols by collaborating with existing teams, including prevention, conduct, victim services, Clery, engaging men, and cultural humility subcommittees. Strengthen relationships with external community partners and serve as liaison between the community and on-campus CCRT.* Training: Develop and deliver mandatory and ongoing prevention programming for incoming and continuing students in collaboration with other campus offices. Create and coordinate training programs with the Molloy community, target populations, and campus public safety. Strengthen response services by incorporating lethality assessment training for service providers. Participate in the Bringing in the Bystander train-the-trainer and implement training program for entire campus community.* Peer Education: Coordinate the MVP ambassador peer education program and play an active role in the hiring, training, and supervision of student leaders to implement ongoing awareness and prevention programming for their peers.* Accountability & Stewardship: Maintain excellent communication and rapport with OVW program manager and technical assistance providers. Monitor progress and maintain records of grant activities and status of strategic plan goals. Work closely with the Grants Office to perform budget management tasks. Utilize Department of Justice's grants management system to submit deliverable and programmatic requests for approval. Complete semi-annual reporting forms (performance reports). Evaluate project outcomes with appropriate assessment tools.* Represent Molloy at all OVW mandated obligations, such as the Technical Training Institute (travel required), as well as virtual webinars, conferences and meetings.* Meet with students presenting secure information and to assess needs; provide individual and group counseling and crisis intervention on social, cultural, behavioral, developmental, and other matters for students experiencing mental or behavioral problems. Consult with families, faculty, staff, mental health professionals and medical personnel, as needed to facilitate the counseling process; refer students to outside resources as warranted.REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelor's degree (Public Health, Social Work, Human Services, Non-profit Management, Sociology or related fields)* Master's degree (Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling)* Limited permit holder* 3 to 5 years of work related experience* Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* LCSW, LMHC- NYS licensed* DatabasesRESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT* Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.SALARY INFORMATIONWhen determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary for this position is $70,000.00.
