P6 Scheduling LeadJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P6 Scheduling Lead to oversee project scheduling and execution for our projects across the Utility and Energy Sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Primavera P6, coupled with a strong background in execution and P6 product management. This role is critical in ensuring project delivery on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor and analyze project performance, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular scheduling meetings, providing updates and insights on schedule performance and changes.
- Implement best practice in scheduling and project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the execution phase of projects by coordinating resources and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and upper management, communicating progress and addressing any concerns.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling processes and tools.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior scheduling staff and project team members.Support customer accounts and prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients as needed
- Support Bid execution.
- Assist with architecting strategic plans within the division to pursue new business opportunities.
- Assist with Developing processes that boost efficiency within the Project Team.
- Support across operating units including Distribution, Transmission, Substation and Oilfield Services as needed.
- Implement Scheduling solutions and analytical tools to drive actionable insights across the Division.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project scheduling, with a strong focus on Primavera P6.
- Electrical project experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Proven experience in product management and execution, demonstrating an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Detailed oriented and analytical.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in construction, Engineering, Project Management, or similar (additional work experience may be substituted for degree).8 years of Scheduling experience3+years of direct experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Powerline industry.Special Requirements:Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time required.We prefer a candidate who can work onsite at our location to foster collaboration and team synergy.
