Nurse PractitionerNurse Practitioner is a dependent practitioner who practices under the direction and supervision of a physician with clinical privileges that may include assessment of patient, implementation of physician directed treatment plans (including tests, treatments, ordering approved medication, etc.) and performing or assisting physician approved procedure. Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Graduation from an accredited AMA committee of the allied health program.Minimum Experience Required:Licensure/Certification Required:1. Certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.2. Licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.3. Maintains current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).4. Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).Skills required (if applicable):1. Must possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, family, and other membersof the health care team.2.
