Pay Information$135 to $155 per hour
About The PositionJoin our cardiothoracic team in an inpatient setting, focusing on high-quality patient care with a flexible schedule and no call.
Schedule:
- Start: ASAP, End: Ongoing
- 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week
- Holidays off include New Year's, Memorial Day, and more
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery
- Rounding in ICU and managing pre/post-operative care
- Average 20-25 patients per shift
Procedures and Cases:
- Manage patients post-surgery, including off-vent management
- Care for patients with open heart, VATS, and lung cases
- Work alongside an Advanced Practice Provider for support
Requirements:
- Board certified Physician Assistant
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Must be licensed in Texas
Credentialing Requirements:
- Temporary privileges available
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 5-7 days
