Pace Academy will be held from August 26 - August 30 at the New York City campus. Peer Leader move-in will be August 25 (residents only). There will be a 1 -day required training in August, date TBD.

Annual Security Report Notice

The PT Peer Leader (PL) with Pace University's Pace Academy serves as a mentor and guide for a group of first-year students participating in Pace Academy. Peer Leaders will be assigned a group of 8-10 first-year students. They will lead or support various academic, social, and off-campus activities to introduce the students to college life and to the Pace NYC campus. PLs, will assist with student move-in on August 26 and help the students go to class, support, and/or lead all activities such as social events and off-campus tours around NYC. They will also act as a point person during the program so they need to provide assistance for any student questions or needs about the program, assist professors upon request, and handle any crisis or conflict issues

Position Duties:

* Act as a mentor and guide for 8-10 first-year students participating in the 1 - week Pace Academy Program.

* Lead and conduct social activities and off-campus activities.

* Be able aware of and be able to initiate protocol in case of an emergency.
