Job Description:

As Director of Clinical Services at PACE KC, you will be part of a team of caregivers to provide care for the people who need it most. The Director of Clinical Services will lead and delegate skilled nursing care to participants, implement healthcare provider orders, contribute to care plans, educate participants, caregivers, families, and staff, and ensure effective communication within the interdisciplinary team. If you have a passion for working with a team of dedicated caregivers to make care visible every day, this role is for you. The Director of Clinical Services will have a multifaceted role, central to the efficient functioning of PACE KC's clinical services. This position will encompass direct involvement in patient care, alongside overseeing various essential functions. These include strategic leadership to ensure compliance and the implementation of best practices in geriatric care. The director will collaborate on clinical policies and protocols, manage staffing and budgetary requirements, and facilitate seamless care coordination for participants. The Director will oversee the supervising and fostering of the development of clinical staff, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring their adherence to assigned duties. The Director will manage in quality assurance initiative through audits and policy development, champion participants' well-being, and actively maintain compliance with healthcare regulations by collaborating with compliance teams. Successful Candidates will have:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • 5 years of clinical leadership experience, preferably in a PACE program or similar valued-based care setting.
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
  • Strong knowledge of geriatric care, chronic disease management, and interdisciplinary care coordination.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance.
