Summary:Primarily responsible for picking orders, stocking parts and transportation of parts from the designated area/storage to applicable locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, or location designation.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to designated locations.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Uses computer to enter records.
- Counts material, equipment, or supplies in stock and provide information for record correction.
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
- Stocks and issues materials.
- Enters and Processes warehouse transfers and order paperwork.

Education and Experience: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have forklift experience.
- Enterprise resource planning system skills (SAP, LN, Baan) are preferred.
- Good communication skills.
- Well organized.
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Must rarely lift and/or move up to 75+lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally required to work four 12-hour days, up to 5 days consecutively as business demands.
- Ability to wear protective gear due to fumes or airborne particles.
- Ability to frequently be exposed to flashing lights.
- Must occasionally be exposed to weather conditions; precipitation, extreme cold and extreme heat.
- Regularly required to wear hearing protection in a loud environment.
