Package Handling SpecialistDaytona Beach, FL (onsite)Potential to convert to permThe role involves managing packages, checking them in, and organizing them by student ID. The position is full-time, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and check-in packages from Client, FedEx, and Amazon.
- Assist students with package pickup and organize packages by student ID.
- Perform extensive walking and standing throughout the shift.
- Operate high-volume duplicating and document imaging equipment.
- Handle shipping, receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages.
- Maintain records, manage inventories, and respond to service calls.
- Perform basic maintenance, including clearing paper jams and ensuring copier functionality.
- Set up meeting rooms, manage office supplies, and perform light cleaning as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle extensive walking/standing.
- Proficient with office machines and MS Office.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
