Job Title: Packager (Weekend Shift)
Job Description
A Packager is responsible for preparing and packaging parts according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and preparing them for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, quality inspection, and basic problem-solving skills to ensure that all parts are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards before painting, checking for any defects or inconsistencies.
Package painted parts according to the Bill of Materials (BOM), selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods to protect the parts during transit.
Place packaged parts in designated areas for shipping, ensuring all parts are correctly labeled and organized.
Use basic problem-solving techniques to address any routine issues that arise during the packaging process, such as troubleshooting equipment or adjusting processes to improve efficiency.
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors, which can vary depending on the needs of the production line.
Essential Skills
Experience in packaging and production environments.
Ability to perform inspections and maintain quality standards.
Familiarity with using hand tools and willingness to learn.
Ability to read work orders and instructions.
Physical ability to lift, pack, stack, and wrap up to 50 pounds regularly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with pallet jacks, RF scanners, and material handling.
Skills in inventory, labeling, loading, shipping, and receiving.

Work Environment
This position operates on a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM , offering a unique work-life balance with four days off during the week. The production environment is non-climate controlled, meaning temperatures can vary with the seasons, so it's important to be prepared for different weather conditions while working. As a packager, you'll be working in a production environment, which involves being on your feet, handling materials, and working with machinery and tools.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
