This is a long-term contract opportunity working in the chemical manufacturing industry.Compensation: $18.50/hr + Benefits Offered, PTO hours accrued & Holiday PayShift: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 7 to 7, 2,3,3,2 rotationResponsibilities: Responsible for safely and efficiently operating and learning the assigned area of the plant.Must maintain high quality and operate within the scope of our quality management system.Maximize production by effectively managing work time.Ensures a smooth transition with other teams at the workstation.Fully supports TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) efforts in all assigned work areas.Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned workspace.Perform minor maintenance in areas of responsibility.Be available for overtime as required to meet production or customer demands.Participate in regular training for EHS, Quality, and SOP updates.Maintain a good attendance record according to company guidelines.Demonstrate a positive attitude and personal behavior towards peers, management, and company.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and support the company's Quality System and policies. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.Preferred candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Forklift experience.Must possess a good attitude and strong work ethic.Must be dependable and have a high degree of integrity. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.This position works in conditions with regular exposure to noise, odors, dust, drafts, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances.Employees may be required to sit for 25%, stand for 60%, and walk around for 15% of their shift.The employee will constantly move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently move up to twenty (20) pounds, and occasionally move up to one hundred (100) pounds. At all times, the employee should maximize the use of mechanical aids.The work environment is mostly in a production environment, but the employee could be exposed to outside weather conditions.
