ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Level 1
  • Responsible for packaging items into required configuration to both customer specific requirements and internal specifications.
  • May be asked to work in both 212 Lyles and 105 Foxy locations, depending upon the demands for different products.
  • Package Bimini Tops, which includes operation of the heat sealer for plastic bags.
  • Assemble hardware and accessories into the packaging that will be used when sending these items in shipments to customers.
  • Assemble one piece truck top Bimini Tops as part of a two-person team. Must be able to follow the assembly process in tandem with the other assembler and produce tops within the allocated time.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Housekeeping of all areas.
Level 2 - In addition to Level 1 requirements, team member is also responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for folding/rolling product to be boxed.
  • Responsible for inspecting & unloading all sewn products, including both newly manufactured products and customer returns.
  • Must be able to assemble Golf Cart Tops per assembly instructions.
  • Must be able to build Support Poles per instructions.
Level 3 - In addition to Level 1 & 2 requirements, team member is also responsible for the following:
  • Responsible for all receiving through the SAGE system.
  • Responsible for all cycle counts.
  • Must be able to create records and maintain a log for all packages that are received without an RA number.
  • Inspect received items for any defects such as sewing, fabric, dirt, and stains. Restocked items will be cleaned when applicable, refolded, proper accessories added and boxed for return to stock.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Returns Representative to ensure that all return issues are resolved appropriately and in a timely manner.
AUTHORITY:All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary to correct quality problems.SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Must be able to work both independently and with a team.
  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must be able to understand instructions.
  • Be able to be cross trained on all other positions.
  • Adhere to the safety regulations and protocol implemented in the work area and facility
  • Basic math and reading skills
