  • Packaging Project Management - Lead all packaging related projects to meet internal and supplier deadlines. Ensure packaging not only provides a positive consumer experience, but also meets cost, quality, and compliance guidelines.
  • Sustainability Lead - Collaborate with global sustainability team to lead US projects focused on improved packaging sustainability along with identifying new materials and process options to meet company goals.
  • Packaging Design - Creation of 2D-CAD drawings and 3D renderings. Test, analyze, and select packaging materials based on durability, sustainability, and cost, while ensuring compliance. Co-operate with third party partners to develop improved packaging or automated packaging technologies.
  • Packaging Testing - Responsible for managing technical services as it pertains to packaging testing, analysis, and verification/validation on new and existing products.
  • Packaging Specifications - Create and/or update packaging specifications as needed. Define and document how the packaging should be applied to the product, how the product should be stacked on the pallet, and safely stacked in our warehouse.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in packaging (or equivalent) preferred.
  • 3+ years of related work experience in package development for consumer products using corrugate and plastics.
  • Solid understanding of sustainability trends and practices related to consumer packaging.
  • Experienced project manager with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle numerous high priority projects at once while being a cross-functional leader.
  • Prior experience with 2D drafting / CAD (3-D ArtiosCAD preferred but not required). Experience with TOPS/CAPE software a plus.
