Job DescriptionJob Title: Packaging EngineerLocation : St Louis, MO (onsite)Job Duration : 18+ Months ContractJob Description:As a Packaging Engineer, you will plan, conduct and coordinate packaging process engineering functions covering all aspects of material handling and unit process operations as applied in the production of wet and dry pet foods, pet treats and cat litter. You are an expert in all aspects of food processing technology in terms of production systems, quality/sanitation, equipment design and application.Travel Up to 50%. Travel to equipment suppliers and construction sites for field data gathering, scope development, project reviews, system FAT, installation, commissioning, and qualification of project.Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.Experience Requirements: 5+ years of packaging equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience technically specifying and procuring packaging equipment (i.e. case packers, palletizers, stretch wrappers, package conveyors, etc.) is highly preferred. Experience with packaging equipment line layout design is highly preferred.APOLIS2024
