From concept and design to getting products on shelves and online, we can support retailers, brands, and wholesalers with everything they need to get ready for retail.We are currently looking for a Packaging Engineer/Project Manager to manage new launches for packaging that requires new or adjusted design tooling that meet our clients' expectations. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:Product Development: Oversee and organize project development to ensure successful and profitable product launches. Organize kick-off meetings and collaborate with Sales, Quality, and New Product Development teams to define project approaches and assess risks. Provide packaging engineering expertise and troubleshoot as needed. Review technical packaging drawings and manage communication with vendors and customers to discuss technical feasibility for new or revised package design. Request and review cost estimates, samples, and perform quality comparisons.Project Management: Lead and manage new projects to meet targets, ensuring clear communication between internal and external teams. Develop and manage project timelines and critical paths. Work closely with QA to define and align packaging specifications with customer expectations. Request, review and submit samples for customer approval. Keeping approved samples organized and ensuring qualification plans of new packaging and formulas are completed. Post-Launch Development: Support the Quality teams in addressing customer complaints and revising specifications. Assist with cost revisions and specification updates.Innovation: Stay updated on cosmetic trends and sustainability innovations. Assist Sales in Trend and Innovation presentations, highlighting the importance of CSR to our clients. Engage with vendors and attend industry events.ABOUT YOU:You have a degree in Science/Cosmetics, Package EngineeringAt least 4 years of experience in the beauty industryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical drawing software. Strong technical understanding of plastic, metal, and injection molding processes, as well as overall manufacturing techniques.Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources effectively, and take proactive approaches to problem-solving.WHAT WE OFFERAs a Packaging Engineer/Project Manager, you will enjoy being part of an energetic and hands-on team, excited about beauty and home care.
