Position Title: Packaging - 1st ShiftWage: $13.00/hourShift: 1stNeed to start work ASAP? This company in Grinnell, IA is looking for an worker who can work fast and medium pace. With working with them you'll learn new positions and work your way up!Packaging Responsibilities: - Retrieve herbs, harvesting, sorting, and trimming in preparation for packaging - Package herbs into clamshell boxes while checking the quality of herbs - Affix labels to clamshell packaging, tape, and place in a box for shipment - Put ice into cooler and package ice to prep for next shipment - Pull weeds and herbs from a trough and dump them into a bucket - Scoop out fertilizer pellets from a trough and dump them in a bucket - Spray out trough with bleach water solution and wipe clean - Refill and spread out fertilizer pellets in clean trough - Plant new herbs - Build boxes, breaking them down, adding Styrofoam and sealing the boxes with a tape gun - Fill wheelbarrow with pellets and push wheelbarrow to dump areaRequirements for Packaging: - Able to lift up to 40lbs - Able to push up to 50+lbs - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to bend and twist throughout shift - Able to work in non-climate-controlled areasQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
