Our team members can take home free snacks!Packaging Machine OperatorShift: C Day Shift (7:45am-8:00pm, 223 Schedule)Starting Pay Rate: $19.29/hourResponsibilities:Run, change over, and ensure efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines.Communicate changes and plans to team members in the immediate area and supervision.Perform tasks on a computer at specific times throughout the shift.Set up and operate packaging equipment, follow precise recipes and work procedures, monitor and adjust variables, and perform product quality tests and data collection.React to direction from quality assurance and management personnel.Use hand tools as required.What you Bring to the Table:Leadership: Set the example for the line and follow all policies/procedures set forth by Shearers Foods LLC. Work well with others and demonstrate Shearer's Core Values of Respect, Teamwork, and Giving Back.Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to work through problems to find root causes and address issues for Mechanical and Automation Equipment.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required to run production and perform routine verifications.Time Management: Effectively manage time, complete changeovers in allotted time, and plan breaks around activity lulls.Flexibility: Be available for training and pre-shift meetings, and work weekends and overtime when needed.Physical Demands: Ability to move, twist, or lift up to 60 lbs and team lift 75 lbs.
