This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that our packaging machinery is maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our production process. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Packaging Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:1. Performing routine and preventative maintenance on packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.3. Collaborating with the engineering team to identify potential improvements to machinery and processes.4. Ensuring all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards.5. Training and mentoring junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.6. Documenting all maintenance and repair work, including any modifications to machinery.7. Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Packaging Maintenance Mechanic role will possess:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.2. Proven expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.3.
