Delivery of finished product to designated departments and when needed scanned into location. Systematically ensuring that where applicable transfers are completed prior to delivery of materials to include corrugate. Cycle counts on all material (corrugate, cartons, labels, leaflets, ribbon) systematically adjusting to ensure accuracy. Transport scrap lenses to the dock, removal of cardboard from all areas and compacted as needed.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Transport finished goods from packaging (after QA released) to required department and when/as needed scan systematically into location.
- Systematically and physical cycle counts of all materials to include - corrugate, cartons, labels, leaflets, and ribbon - working with supervisor to have systematic adjustments made when needed for inventory accuracy.
- Recycle corrugated as needed.
- Remove scrap gaylords as needed to the dock - replace them with empty ones.
- Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at designated start times.
- As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks - to include mandatory Saturdays.
- Immediately informs coordinator/supervisor of any safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions.
- Seeks assistance from coordinator/supervisor in identifying and reporting problems, concerns relating to job function.
- Adapts readily to changes in workload, priorities, staffing and scheduling.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Exhibits good communication skills - verbal, written and comprehension of the English language
- As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily Packaging requirements
