Please submit and application to be considered for the role.Pay: $28-$35/hrShift: 1st shift - 6:00am-3:00pm AND 2nd shift - 3:00pm-12:00amLocation: Totowa, NJDescription: We are seeking a skilled Packaging Mechanic to join our team. - Preventative maintenance on packaging machinery - Set up and change over machines - Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting- Experience with HMIs and PLCs is a plus - Maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems- Read technical diagrams and blueprints- Perform general electrical maintenance- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devicesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:- Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP/GMP, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.- Ability to utilize diagnostic equipment and tools- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish) - open to Spanish speaking only- Proficiency with electrical hand tools and power tools- Ability to read and interpret schematics- Experience with amp meters, ohmmeters, voltmetersApply now!
