JOB DESCRIPTION: The Packing Operator is responsible and accountable for ensuring all finished products are packaged according to proper specifications and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Stacking product
- Perform packaging evaluation checks.
- Perform sanitation duties, etc.
- May also assist with running the production packaging lines.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS: - Standing on a concrete floor
- Must be capable of working at elevated heights and or confined space.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)
- Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals.
EDUCATION: - High School Diploma or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Experience working within manufacturing environment is a plus.
