Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. This position performs repetitive assembly of the company's products into complete packages. May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting, and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product. When applicable, maintains related records to comply with government standards.
What will you be doing? - Assembles packages.
- Operates production equipment.
- Develops skills to perform basic, repetitive, and manual activities in the job.
- Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in the team.
What will you need to be successful? - High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational certifications preferred but not required.
- No Experience required.
- Must be able to perform basic hand finishing skills such as deburring, bead blasting, and tumbling.
- Required to work with and maintain very close tolerances and able to perform marking, labeling, and packaging functions.
